Sims Launch can store all of those program (editing programs for The Sims and The Sims 2) and folder shortcuts for you, reducing the clutter on your desktop and in your Windows Start Menu. All you have to do is add shortcuts to the Sims Launch program, a task that is incredibly easy to do. Once the shortcuts have been added, you simply double click them (just as you would in Windows) to start each program.
